The Processed Word (TPW) is HIPAA compliant, provides customizable digital dictation systems with a web-based transcription delivery and archive system (TPWeb) and 12- to 36-hour turnaround.
Founded in 1983, TPW has developed a staff of more than 30 trained medical transcriptionists. Transcriptionists have up to 30 years' experience, and each is a specialist in disciplines outlined on our About Us page.
Dictation is assigned daily on a specialty basis (not using a "shotgun approach"), enabling clients and transcriptionists to develop a long-term rapport.
The management team regularly discusses dictation requirements with each client in order to provide the best integration of finished medical transcription. Staff training, implementation and followup are provided as part of TPW's transcription service. We respond quickly to STATS and other requests.
The firm has a Certificate of Preferred Resource from the Indianapolis Medical Society and is an Accredited Business with the Indianapolis Better Business Bureau.
